Washer Motor Inspection

Turn the steering wheel to full right lock.
Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Lift up the vehicle.
Remove the front mudguard No. 2. (See FRONT MUDGUARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Disconnect the connector.

Disconnect the washer hose from the washer motor.
Apply battery voltage to washer motor terminal B, and connect terminal A to ground.
WARNING:
- Water sprayed on the battery and ground could cause electrocution. When performing the washer motor inspection, prepare a container to collect washer fluid and be careful not to spray washer fluid.

Verify that washer fluid sprays from the washer motor.

- If washer fluid does not spray from the washer motor, replace the washer motor. (See WASHER MOTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
