Map Light Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the following parts:
    1. A-pillar trim (See A-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Female wedge (See FEMALE WEDGE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Front header trim (See FRONT HEADER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. While pressing the map light tab in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the illustration, press the map light in the direction of arrow (2) to detach the map light tab from the front header trim.

  4. Pull the map light in the direction of arrow (3) shown in the illustration and remove it from the front header trim.
  5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
