Continuity Inspection

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
NOTE:
  • The down switch is built into the selector lever component.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the following parts:
  3. Selector lever knob (See SELECTOR LEVER COMPONENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. Console side panel (See CONSOLE SIDE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  5. Switch panel (See SWITCH PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  6. Cup holder (See CUP HOLDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  7. Shift panel (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  8. Front console box (See FRONT CONSOLE BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  9. Side wall (See SIDE WALL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  10. Rear console (See REAR CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  11. Disconnect the selector lever component connector.

  12. Verify that the continuity between selector lever component terminals F and H.
