Magnetic Clutch Inspection (VIN 7, VIN L & VIN M)
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
- Disconnect the magnetic clutch connector. (See MAGNETIC CLUTCH DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY (VIN 7, VIN L & VIN M) .)
- Connect battery to terminal A of magnetic clutch and ground to A/C compressor body.
- Verify that the magnetic clutch operates.
- If there is any malfunction, replace the magnetic clutch. (See MAGNETIC CLUTCH ADJUSTMENT (VIN 7, VIN L & VIN M) .)
