Remote Tuner (Rt) Removal/Installation

CAUTION:
- If the remote tuner is replaced, contact Sirius XM dealer support and tell them the radio ID and VIN. Otherwise, the Sirius XM satellite radio may be unusable. (With Sirius XM satellite radio)
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
- Remove the following parts:
- Rear package tray (See REAR PACKAGE TRAY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Trunk side upper trim (See TRUNK SIDE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- C-pillar trim (See C-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the bolts.
- Remove the cargo net hooks.
- Remove the fasteners.
- Move the trunk side trim in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration while detaching the clip.
- Partially pull away the trunk side trim in the direction of the arrow to a position where the remote tuner can be removed.
- Remove the screws.
- Remove the bolts.
- Disconnect the connectors.
- Remove the wiring harness clip A and B.
- Remove the remote tuner (RT).
- When removing the brackets A and B, perform the following procedure:
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
- If the remote tuner is replaced, contact Sirius XM dealer support and tell them the radio ID and VIN.
