Rear Mount Camera Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
  2. Remove the following parts:
    1. Side spoiler (See LIFTGATE GARNISH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Liftgate garnish (See LIFTGATE LOWER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Liftgate upper trim (See LIFTGATE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    4. Liftgate side trim (See LIFTGATE SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    5. Liftgate recess (See LIFTGATE RECESS REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    6. Door lock switch (liftgate) (with door lock switch (liftgate)) (See DOOR LOCK SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (US) .)
    7. Power liftgate (PLG) rear switch (with power liftgate (PLG) rear switch) (See POWER LIFTGATE (PLG) REAR SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    8. Liftgate lower trim (See LIFTGATE LOWER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    9. Rear finisher (See REAR FINISHER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Press the rear mount camera tabs in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the illustration, press the rear mount camera in the direction of arrow (2) shown in the illustration, and disengage the rear mount camera tabs from the rear finisher.

  4. Remove the rear mount camera.
  5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
  6. Perform the 360° view monitor system aiming. (with 360° view monitor system) (See 360°VIEW MONITOR SYSTEM AIMING .)
