DTC B0004:55 OR B0013:55 [SAS CONTROL MODULE] DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step	Inspection	Results	Action
1	VERIFY SPECIFICATION FOR INSTALLED PART Verify the installation condition of the parts related to the DTC. (See AIR BAG SYSTEM LOCATION INDEX [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM - US/CANADA SPEC.] .) Is a part which is not for the vehicle specification installed?	Yes	Repair the part installation correctly, then go to the next step.
1		No	Go to the next step.
2	PERFORM SAS CONTROL MODULE CONFIGURATION Perform the SAS control module configuration using the M-MDS. (See CONFIGURATION .) Clear the DTC for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC .) Perform the DTC inspection for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION .) Are the same Pending DTCs present?	Yes	Go to the next step.
2		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
Repair completion verification	PERFORM SAS CONTROL MODULE DTC INSPECTION Clear the DTC for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC .) Perform the DTC inspection for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION .) Are the same Pending DTCs present?	Yes	Refer to the controller area network (CAN) malfunction diagnosis flow to inspect for a CAN communication error. (See CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK (CAN) MALFUNCTION DIAGNOSIS FLOW (US) .) If the CAN communication is normal, perform the diagnosis from Step 1. If the malfunction recurs, replace the SAS control module. Repair completion verification		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
