High-Mount Brake Light Inspection

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
  2. Remove High-mount brake light. (See HIGH-MOUNT BRAKE LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Apply battery positive voltage to high-mount brake light terminal B, and connect the ground to terminal A.

  4. Verify that the high-mount brake light turns on.
