LOW MAXIMUM SPEED, POOR ACCELERATION (EV6A-EL, EV6AX-EL) DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step	Inspection	Results	Action
1	INSPECT ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM FOR MALFUNCTION Perform the symptom troubleshooting "LACK/LOSS OF POWER-ACCELERATION/CRUISE". (See LACK/LOSS OF POWER-ACCELERATION/CRUISE (US) ) Is there any malfunction?	Yes	Repair or replace any malfunctioning parts according to the inspection result.
1		No	Go to the next step.
2	INSPECT SIGNAL PARTS FOR MALFUNCTION Inspect the value at the following PCM PIDs using the M-MDS. (See PID/DATA MONITOR INSPECTION .) APP1 (APP sensor No. 1) APP2 (APP sensor No. 2) MAF (MAF sensor) ENG_RPM (CKP sensor) Is there any malfunction? (See PID/DATA MONITOR TABLE [PCM (SKYACTIV-G (US))] .)	Yes	Repair or replace any malfunctioning parts according to the inspection result.
2		No	Explain to the customer that the vehicle is not malfunctioning and they should keep an eye on it.
