Auto-stop Operation Inspection

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
  2. Disconnect the rear wiper motor connector. (See REAR WIPER MOTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Apply battery positive voltage to rear wiper motor terminal A and connect terminals B and C to the ground, and then operate the rear wiper motor.

  4. While the rear wiper motor is operating, disconnect the ground connected to terminal C.
  5. Verify that the rear wiper stops at the park position as a result of the auto-stop operating.
