U.S.A. and CANADA (Charcoal canister (sub)): Notes

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
  2. Remove the rear tire (RH). (See WHEEL AND TIRE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Remove the rear splash shield (RH). (See SPLASH SHIELD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. Remove the cap nuts. (See MUDGUARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)

  5. Set the rear mudguard (RH) aside. (See MUDGUARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  6. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
  7. Install in the reverse order of removal.

    1 CV solenoid valve connector
    2 Quick release connector

    3 Charcoal canister (sub) component
    4 Air filter component
    5 Charcoal canister (sub)

    6 Charcoal canister (sub) bracket
