Oil Control Valve (OCV) For Cylinder Deactivation Removal/Installation: Notes

WARNING:

A hot engine can cause severe burns. Turn off the engine and wait until it is cool before servicing.

CAUTION:

When removing the OCV for cylinder deactivation, be careful not to allow the engine oil to contact the surrounding parts. Otherwise, it could cause a malfunction in the surrounding parts or damage to the surrounding parts.

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
Remove the plug hole plate. (See PLUG HOLE PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove in the order indicated in the table.

Install in the reverse order of removal.
