Door Adjustment

- Measure the gap and height difference between the door and the body.
Standard clearance
- 2.4-4.4 mm {0.10-0.17 in}
- -1.0-1.0 mm {-0.039-0.039 in}
- 2.6-4.3 mm {0.11-0.16 in}
- -1.0-0.9 mm {-0.03-0.03 in}
- 3.3-5.1 mm {0.13-0.20 in}
- -1.0-1.0 mm {-0.039-0.039 in}
- 2.5-4.3 mm {0.10-0.16 in}
- -1.0-1.0 mm {-0.039-0.039 in}
- 3.7-5.7 mm {0.15-0.22 in}
- -1.0-1.0 mm {-0.039-0.039 in}
- 2.8-4.8 mm {0.12-0.18 in}
- Not used
- -1.0-1.0 mm {-0.039-0.039 in}
- If the measured value exceeds the standard clearance, adjust the door using the following procedure:
- Loosen the door hinge installation bolts and adjust the door.
- Tighten the door hinge installation bolts. (See FRONT DOOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .) (See REAR DOOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- If the door does not open/close smoothly, adjust it by loosening the door lock striker installation screw. (See DOOR LOCK STRIKER ADJUSTMENT .)
- Spray or pour water on the door and surrounding area using a hose or high pressure water pressure car wash and verify that there is no water leakage.
- If the front door is adjusted, perform the 360° view monitor system aiming. (With 360° view monitor system) (See 360° VIEW MONITOR SYSTEM AIMING .)
