Door Lock Striker Adjustment

CAUTION:
- When adjusting the door lock striker, be careful not to allow the hammer to contact the vehicle body. Otherwise, the vehicle body could be damaged.
NOTE:
- There is an adjustment plate inside the pillar so that the door lock striker position can be adjusted by lightly tapping on the door lock striker.
- Loosen the door lock striker installation screws.
- Wrap the door lock striker with a clean cloth and lightly tap on the door lock striker with a hammer to adjust it.
- Tighten the door lock striker installation screws. (See DOOR LOCK STRIKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Close the door and verify its tightness when it is closed and that there is no looseness.
