Rear Center Seat Belt Removal/Installation: Notes

CAUTION:
- If the retractor is disassembled, it will not operate correctly due to looseness and excessive play of the internal parts, therefore, do not disassemble the retractor.
NOTE:
- The rear center seat belt is building into the rear seat back.
- Switch the ignition off.
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
- Remove the following parts:
- Rear seat cushion (See REAR SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Rear buckle (LH) (See REAR BUCKLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Rear seat back (See REAR SEAT BACK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Rear seat back frame (See REAR SEAT BACK FRAME REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the rear center seat belt from the guide as shown in the illustration.
- Remove the nuts.
- Remove the rear center seat belt retractor from the rear seat back frame.
- Remove the rear center seat belt.
- Install in the reverse order of removal. (See REAR CENTER SEAT BELT INSTALLATION NOTE .)
