Rear Seat Back Frame Removal/Installation

CAUTION:
- When performing the procedure with a rear seat removed from the vehicle, perform the procedure on a clean cloth so as not to damage or dirty the seat.
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
- Remove the following part:
- Rear seat cushion (See REAR SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Rear center seat belt anchor (See REAR BUCKLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Head restraint
- Rear seat back (See REAR SEAT BACK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Unzip the zippers.
- Move the rear seat back trim hooks in the order of arrows (1) and (2) shown in the illustration, and detach the rear seat back trim hooks from the rear seat back frame.
- While pressing the top tether anchor cover tabs in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the illustration, move the top tether anchor cover in the direction of arrow (2) and detach the top tether anchor cover from the rear seat back frame.
- While pressing the tabs in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the illustration, pull the pole guides in the direction of arrow (2) and remove the pole guides from the rear seat back frame.
- Move the armrest hinge cover in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration and remove it.
- Remove the bolt.
- Partially peel back the trim of the rear seat center armrest hinge and remove the clip in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration.
- Move the rear seat center armrest in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the illustration.
- Move the rear seat center armrest in the direction of arrow (2) shown in the illustration and remove it.
- Detach the tabs shown in the illustration from the rear seat back frame.
- Detach the tabs shown in the illustration from the rear seat back frame and remove the rear center seat belt cover.
- Remove the screws.
- Detach the tab and remove the rear seat belt cover from the rear seat back frame.
- Remove the rear seat back frame from the rear seat back trim.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
