Speaker inspection

  1. Launch the diagnostic assist function. (See ACTIVATION PROCEDURE .)
  2. Select in the following order from the diagnostic assist function initial screen.
    1. [Functional Inspection/Adjustment]
    2. [Active Speaker Check Function]
  3. Verify if the speakers output audio in the following order (clockwise from left front of vehicle).
    1. Cowl side woofer (LH)
    2. Front door speaker (LH)
    3. Tweeter (LH)
    4. Front center speaker (with Bose ®)
    5. Cowl side woofer (RH)
    6. Front door speaker (RH)
    7. Tweeter (RH)
    8. Rear door speaker (RH)
    9. Rear side speaker (RH) (with Bose ®)
    10. Rear center speaker (4SD) or bass box (5HB/WGN) (with Bose ®)
    11. Rear side speaker (LH) (with Bose ®)
    12. Rear door speaker (LH)
      • Refer to the appropriate service information and inspect the malfunctioning speaker, audio amplifier, and related circuits, and repair or replace the malfunctioning location.
  4. Ends the diagnostic assist function. (See ENDING PROCEDURE .)
