HD recognition information verification

  1. Launch the diagnostic assist function. (See ACTIVATION PROCEDURE .)
  2. Select in the following order from the diagnostic assist function initial screen.
    1. [Functional Inspection/Adjustment]
    2. [HD Recognition]
  3. Verify the following information.

    -: Not applicable

    DIAGNOSTIC ASSIST FUNCTION INITIAL SCREEN

    Indication on center display Unit Content/function
    CN dB Indicates the CN ratio.
    P1BER -
    • [M]: Indicates the main tuner P1 bit error rate.
    • [S]: Indicates the sub-tuner P1 bit error rate.
    P2BER -
    • [M]: Indicates the main tuner P2 bit error rate.
    • [S]: Indicates the sub-tuner P2 bit error rate.
    P3BER -
    • [M]: Indicates the main tuner P3 bit error rate.
    • [S]: Indicates the sub-tuner P3 bit error rate.
    P4BER -
    • [M]: Indicates the main tuner P4 bit error rate.
    • [S]: Indicates the sub-tuner P4 bit error rate.
    PIDBLK - Indicates the PIDS block bit error rate.
    Baseband Processor Ver - Indicates the baseband processor version.
    HDACQ - Indicates the HDACQ value.
    DAACQ - Indicates the DAACQ value.
    Error Rate Reset - Resets the error.
  4. Ends the diagnostic assist function. (See ENDING PROCEDURE .)
