Rear Spoiler Installation

- When a rear spoiler is to be reused, perform the following procedure:
- If the packing is damaged, remove bolts together with the packing.
- Remove any grease and dirt from the packing affixing area.
- Install new bolts together with the packing.NOTE:
- Packing has already been attached to the new bolt.
- If the protector is damaged, replace the part that is damaged with a new protector.
- If the packing is damaged, remove bolts together with the packing.
- Install the grommet of the high-mount brake light wiring harness.
- Align the bolts to the rear spoiler installation hole.
- Push the rear spoiler in the direction of the arrows in the order of (1), (2), (3), (4), (5) and install the rear spoiler.
- Install the nuts shown in the illustration, and install the rear spoiler.
- Install the caps shown in the illustration.
- Connect the connector and install the wiring harness to the hook.
- Install the liftgate upper trim. (See LIFTGATE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Install the side spoiler. (See SIDE SPOILER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Connect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(US)] .)
