MAZDA LONG LIFE HYPOID GEAR OIL SG1

Remove the front under cover No. 2. (See FRONT UNDER COVER No. 2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the front crossmember component. (See FRONT CROSSMEMBER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (US) .)
Remove the exhaust manifold (WU-TWC). (See EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G (VIN L (US))] .)
Remove the heat shield. (See TRANSFER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [ET6AX-EL (SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5)] .)
Remove the transfer bracket. (See TRANSFER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [ET6AX-EL (SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5)] .)
Remove the oil level plug and with the washer.

Verify that there is transfer oil around the oil level plug installation hole by hand.
- If there is a lack of oil, add transfer oil from the oil level plug installation hole.
Transfer oil type

MAZDA LONG LIFE HYPOID GEAR OIL SG1
Install the oil level plug with a new washer.

Install the transfer bracket. (See TRANSFER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [ET6AX-EL (SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5)] .)
Install the heat shield. (See TRANSFER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [ET6AX-EL (SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5)] .)
Install the exhaust manifold (WU-TWC). (See EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G (VIN L (US))] .)
Install the front crossmember component. (See FRONT CROSSMEMBER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (US) .)
Install the front under cover No. 2. (See FRONT UNDER COVER No. 2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
