Front Drive Shaft Inspection

Remove front under cover No. 2. (See FRONT UNDER COVER No. 2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Inspect the connections for any looseness.

- If there is any malfunction, tighten or replace the applicable part. (See FRONT DRIVE SHAFT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (US) .)
Inspect the boot for cracks and damage.
- If there is any malfunction, replace the applicable part. (See FRONT DRIVE SHAFT (TRIPOD JOINT) DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY (US) .)
Move the spline area and joint area up/down and left/right and inspect for excessive play.
