Dashboard Removal (Us)

Replacement part 

Bolt

Quantity: 1

Location use: Dashboard

WARNING:
  • Handling the driver-side air bag module improperly can accidentally operate (deploy) the air bag module, which may seriously injure you. Read the air bag system service warnings and cautions before handling the driver-side air bag module.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
  2. Remove the following parts:
    1. A-pillar trim (See A-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (US) .)
    2. Front scuff plate (See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Front side trim (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    4. Passenger-side decoration panel (See DECORATION PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    5. Glove compartment (See GLOVE COMPARTMENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    6. Dashboard under cover (See DASHBOARD UNDER COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    7. Passenger-side lower panel (See LOWER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (US) .)
    8. Driver-side decoration panel (See DECORATION PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    9. Shift lever knob (MTX)
    10. Selector lever knob (ATX) (See SELECTOR LEVER COMPONENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)

    39. Windshield wiper arm and blade (See WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM AND BLADE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)

  3. Disconnect the connectors and remove wiring harness clips A, B and C.

  4. Disconnect the connectors.

  5. Disconnect the connectors and remove wiring harness clip.

  6. Remove the bolt.

  7. Disconnect the connectors.
  8. Remove the bolts and nuts shown in the figure.

  9. Remove the dashboard bracket.
  10. Remove the hose.

  11. Remove the bolts.

  12. To prevent scratches or damage, affix protective tape to the position shown in the figure of the windshield.

  13. Remove the bolt.

  14. Move the dashboard in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure, then remove the guides.

  15. Rotate the dashboard in the direction shown in the figure.

  16. Take the dashboard off from the front driver-side door or front passenger-side door opening.
