Hatchback (5HB)

  1. Install the side spoiler to the rear spoiler.

  2. When a rear spoiler is to be reused, perform the following procedure:
    1. Remove the packing remaining on the rear spoiler after removal.
    2. Remove any grease and dirt from the packing affixing area.
    3. Affix a new packing to the position shown in the figure.

    4. If the protector is damaged, replace the part that is damaged with a new protector.

  3. Install the grommet of the high-mount brake light wiring harness.

  4. Push the rear spoiler and side spoiler in the direction of the arrows in the order of (1), (2), (3), (4), (5) and install the rear spoiler and side spoiler.

  5. Install the nuts shown in the figure, and install the rear spoiler.

  6. Install the caps shown in the figure.

  7. Connect the high-mount brake light connector and install the wiring harness to the hook.

  8. Install the liftgate upper trim. (See LIFTGATE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  9. Connect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
