Indicator Light Inspection

NOTE:
  • The indicator light is built into the electric parking brake switch. If there is any malfunction, replace the electric parking brake switch.
  1. Remove the electric parking brake switch. (See ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  2. Apply battery positive voltage to electric parking brake switch terminal K, and connect terminal L to ground.

  3. Verify that the indicator light turns on.

    • If there is any malfunction, replace the electric parking brake switch.
