FSC Clip B

- Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
- Remove the following parts:
- Cover (See FORWARD SENSING CAMERA (FSC) COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Forward sensing camera (FSC) (See FORWARD SENSING CAMERA (FSC) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Laser sensor (See LASER SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Insert a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver into the gap between the base and FSC clip B.
- Move the flathead screwdriver in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure, rotate FSC clip B, and detach base pin A and FSC clip B.
- Insert a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver into the gap between the base and FSC clip B.
- Move the flathead screwdriver in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure, pull down FSC clip B, detach base pin B and FSC clip B, and remove FSC clip B.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
- If the FSC clip is replaced, perform the FSC aiming (See FORWARD SENSING CAMERA (FSC) AIMING .).
CAUTION:
- If FSC aiming is not performed after replacing the FSC clips, the high beam control (HBC) system and the lane departure warning system (LDWS) will not operate normally because the shooting angle of the FSC camera deviates. If the FSC clips are replaced, perform the FSC aiming.
