Clutch Pedal Removal/Installation: Installation

- Install in the order indicated in the table.COMPONENT DESCRIPTION
1 Pedal pad 2 Clutch pedal 3 Clutch master cylinder
(See CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION IC66M-R] .)4 Nut - Connect the clutch reserve hose to clutch master cylinder. (See CLUTCH PIPE AND HOSE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Connect the clutch pipe and hose No. 1 to clutch master cylinder. (See CLUTCH PIPE AND HOSE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Connect the steering shaft. (See STEERING WHEEL AND COLUMN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Install the joint cover. (See STEERING WHEEL AND COLUMN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Bleed the air from the clutch system. (See CLUTCH FLUID REPLACEMENT/AIR BLEEDING .)
- Inspect the clutch pedal. (See CLUTCH PEDAL INSPECTION .)
- Install a new starter interlock switch. (See STARTER INTERLOCK SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Install a new clutch pedal position switch. (See CLUTCH PEDAL POSITION SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Install the battery component (battery, battery tray and PCM component). (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Install the air cleaner component (air cleaner, air hose). (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Connect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Fully depress the clutch pedal, and verify that the engine starts.
