Rear Door Lock Actuator Inspection

- Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Remove the following parts:
- Rear door trim (See REAR DOOR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Rear inner handle (See INNER HANDLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Rear door latch and lock actuator (See REAR DOOR LATCH AND LOCK ACTUATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Apply battery positive voltage and connect the ground to the rear door lock actuator terminals as indicated in the
chart below and verify the operation condition.
REAR DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR B+ Terminal Ground Terminal Operation LH A G LOCK G A UNLOCK RH K E LOCK E K UNLOCK - If not as indicated in the chart, replace the rear door latch and lock actuator.
