Diagnostic Procedure

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step Inspection Action
1 VERIFY AREA AROUND RADIATOR GRILLE ORNAMENT
  • Visually inspect the surface of the radiator grille ornament.
  • Under the following conditions?
    • Dirt is adhering to radiator grille ornament.
    • Foreign matter (reflective object) is adhering to radiator grille ornament
      • Radiator grille ornament is scratched or damaged
Yes Return the surfaces of the radiator grille ornament to their normal condition, then go to Step 6.
No Go to the next step.
2 VERIFY AREA AROUND RADAR SENSOR
  • Remove front bumper. (See FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL .) (See FRONT BUMPER INSTALLATION .)
  • Visually inspect the surface of the radar unit.
  • Under the following conditions?
    • Dirt is adhering to radar unit
    • Foreign matter (reflective object) is adhering to radar unit
      • Radar unit is scratched or damaged
Yes Return the radar unit to their normal condition, then go to Step 6.
No Go to the next step.
3 VERIFY RADAR UNIT BRACKET
  • Verify that there is no bending or damage on the radar unit bracket.
  • Is there bending or damage on the radar unit bracket?
Yes Replace the radar unit bracket and perform the aiming adjustment. (See RADAR UNIT DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY .)
(See RADAR UNIT AIMING .)
Go to Step 6.
No Go to the next step.
4 VERIFY DSC HU/CM DTCs Yes Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
(See ON-BOARD DIAGNOSIS [DYNAMIC STABILITY CONTROL (DSC)] .)
No Go to the next step.
5 VERIFY SAS CONTROL MODULE DTCs Yes Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
(See DTC TABLE [SAS CONTROL MODULE (STANDARD DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM)] .)
(See DTC TABLE [SAS CONTROL MODULE (TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM)] .)
No Go to the next step.
6 VERIFY THAT REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED Yes Repeat the inspection from Step 1.
Go to the next step.
No Go to the next step.
7 VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED
  • Are any other DTCs displayed?
Yes Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.

No DTC troubleshooting completed.
