Diagnostic procedure

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

STEP INSPECTION ACTION
1 VERIFY DTCs FOR PCM Yes Repair the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
(See DTC TABLE [PCM (SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5)] .)
No Go to the next step.
2 INSPECT AMBIENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR Yes Go to the next step.
No Replace the ambient temperature sensor, then go to the next step.

3 VERIFY THAT THE SAME DTC IS NOT PRESENT Yes Repeat the inspection from Step 1. If the malfunction recurs, replace the PCM, then go to the next step.

No Go to the next step.
4 VERIFY THAT NO OTHER DTCS ARE PRESENT
  • Are any other DTCs output?
Yes Go to the applicable DTC inspection.

No DTC troubleshooting completed.
