| 2 | VERIFY PCM DTCs
|
Yes | Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [PCM (SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5)] .) |
| No | Go to the next step. | ||
| 3 | INSPECT TCM CONNECTOR CONDITION

Yes | Go to the next step. |
| No | Repair or replace the connector, then go to Step 10. | ||
| 4 | INSPECT PCM CONNECTOR CONDITION
|
Yes | Go to the next step. |
| No | Repair or replace the connector, then go to Step 10. | ||
| 5 | INSPECT START STOP UNIT CONNECTOR CONDITION
|
Yes | Go to the next step. |
| No | Repair or replace the connector, then go to Step 10. | ||
| 6 | INSPECT FOR SHORT TO GROUND IN TRANSAXLE RANGE SENSOR CIRCUIT
|
Yes | Refer to the wiring diagram and verify whether or not there is a common connector between the following terminals:
If there is a common connector:
Go to Step 10. |
| No | Go to the next step. | ||
| 7 | INSPECT FOR OPEN CIRCUIT IN TRANSAXLE RANGE SENSOR CIRCUIT

Yes | Go to the next step. |
| No | Refer to the wiring diagram and verify whether or not there is a common connector between the following terminals:
If there is a common connector:
Go to Step 10. |

| 8 | PERFORM DTC INSPECTION AND VERIFY TRANSAXLE RANGE SENSOR MALFUNCTION

Yes | Replace the TCM, then go to the next step. (See CONTROL VALVE BODY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [FW6A-EL] .) |
| No | Go to Step 11. | ||
| 9 | PERFORM DTC INSPECTION AND VERIFY PCM MALFUNCTION
|
Yes | Replace the PCM, then go to the next step. (See PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .) |
| No | Go to Step 11. | ||
| 10 | VERIFY THAT REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED

Yes | Repeat the inspection from Step 1.

| 11 | VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED
