Hatchback (5HB)

  1. To remove the rear seat back trim (LH), remove the following part:
    1. Rear seat cushion (See REAR SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Rear center seat belt anchor (See REAR CENTER SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Rear seat center armrest (See REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  2. Remove the following parts:
    1. Rear seat back. (See REAR SEAT BACK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Rear seat back frame. (See REAR SEAT BACK FRAME REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. While partially peeling back the rear seat back trim, remove the surface fasteners. (With surface fastener)

  4. Remove the C-rings in the order shown in the figure and remove the rear seat back trim from the rear seat back pad.
    CAUTION:
    • If a C-ring is damaged while removing or installing the rear seat back trim and rear seat back pad, it may not be possible to install the rear seat back trim and rear seat back pad normally. When removing or installing the rear seat back trim and rear seat back pad, be careful not to damage the C-rings.
    • If a C-ring is damaged, replace it with a new one.
