Rear Bumper Slider

- Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
- Remove the following parts:
- Rear combination light (See REAR COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Rear splash shield (See SPLASH SHIELD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Rear bumper (See REAR BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Trunk side trim (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the screws and nut shown in the figure.
Sedan (4SD)
Hatchback (5HB)
- Press the hook tabs shown in the figure and remove the rear bumper slider from the rear fender panel.CAUTION:
- When removing, move the rear bumper slider straight out from the rear fender panel so as not to damage the rear bumper slider pin.
Sedan (4SD)
Hatchback (5HB)
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
