Rear Bumper Slider

Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
Remove the following parts:
1. Rear combination light (See REAR COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2. Rear splash shield (See SPLASH SHIELD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3. Rear bumper (See REAR BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
4. Trunk side trim (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the screws and nut shown in the figure.
Sedan (4SD)

Hatchback (5HB)

Press the hook tabs shown in the figure and remove the rear bumper slider from the rear fender panel.
CAUTION:
- When removing, move the rear bumper slider straight out from the rear fender panel so as not to damage the rear bumper slider pin.
Sedan (4SD)

Install in the reverse order of removal.
