Hatchback (5HB)

  1. Remove the following parts:
    1. Rear scuff plate (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Rear seat cushion (See REAR SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Rear seat back (See REAR SEAT BACK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  2. Partially peel back the seaming welt.
  3. Move the tire house trim in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and remove the hooks from the C-pillar trim.

  4. Move the tire house trim in the order of the arrows (1) and (2) shown in the figure while setting the rear seat back aside, and remove the clips from the body.

  5. Remove the tire house trim.
  6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
