Front Door Speaker Inspection

Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove the following parts:
1. Power window main switch (driver's side) (See POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2. Power window subswitch (passenger's side) (See POWER WINDOW SUBSWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3. Front door trim (See FRONT DOOR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Disconnect the front door speaker connector. (See FRONT DOOR SPEAKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Inspect the resistance between front door speaker terminals B and C.
Front door speaker resistance

Without Bose®: 3.4-4.6 ohms

With Bose®: approx. 2.1 ohms

- If not within the specification, replace the front door speaker. (See FRONT DOOR SPEAKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
