Side Cowl Grille Removal/Installation

Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove the windshield wiper arm and blade. (See WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM AND BLADE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Disconnect windshield washer hose B from joint pipe A of windshield washer hose A. (See WINDSHIELD WASHER HOSE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the following parts:
1. Front fender molding (See FRONT FENDER MOLDING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2. Cowl grille (See COWL GRILLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3. Windshield wiper motor and link (See WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
4. Keyless beeper (with advanced keyless entry system) (See KEYLESS BEEPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
CAUTION:
- When detaching the side cowl grille clip from the dashboard upper panel, the clip may fall off the dashboard upper panel and into the blower unit. Carefully detach the side cowl grille clip from the dashboard upper panel to prevent the clip from falling off.
Press the clip tab in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and detach it clip from the dashboard upper panel.

Press the clip tab in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and detach the clip from the dashboard upper panel.

Pull the side cowl grille in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and detach the clip from the dashboard upper panel.

Remove the side cowl grille in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure while pulling out the guide.

Install in the reverse order of removal.
