Cowl Grille Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the windshield wiper arm and blade. (See WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM AND BLADE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Disconnect windshield washer hose B from joint pipe A of windshield washer hose A. (See WINDSHIELD WASHER HOSE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. Remove the front fender molding. (See FRONT FENDER MOLDING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  5. Remove the clips.

  6. Remove the fasteners.

  7. Pull the cowl grille in the direction of the arrows shown in the figure and detach the guides from the windshield.

  8. Remove the cowl grille.
  9. Install in the reverse order of removal.
