Rear Console Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
  2. Remove the upper panel. (See UPPER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Grasp the shaded area shown in the figure, and pull the console panel in the direction of the arrow and remove it while detaching clips.

  4. Pull the console panel in the direction of the arrow and remove it while detaching clips.

  5. Remove the cushion tape, then remove screws.

  6. Pull up the console up in the direction of the arrow (1) shown in the figure while remove the clips, pull the console up in the direction of the arrow (2) while remove the guides, and remove it.

  7. Disconnect the connector.
  8. Remove the wiring harness clip.
  9. Pull the rear console in the direction of the arrow and remove it from the front console while detaching clips, guides.

  10. Remove the rear console in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure.

  11. Install in the reverse order of removal.
