Solar Radiation Sensor Removal/Installation [Full-Auto Air Conditioner]
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the following parts:
- Front scuff plate (passenger-side) (See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Front side trim (passenger-side) (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Side wall (See SIDE WALL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Center console box (See CENTER CONSOLE BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Console panel (See CONSOLE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Center console (See CENTER CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Shift lever knob (MTX) (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [G66M-R] .)
- Selector lever knob (ATX) (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Shift panel (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Front console (See FRONT CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Side panel (See SIDE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Glove compartment (See GLOVE COMPARTMENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Dashboard under cover (See DASHBOARD UNDER COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Lower panel (passenger-side) (See LOWER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Insert a hand into the dashboard from the passenger's area and press the lower part of the solar radiation sensor connector upward, and then disconnect the solar radiation sensor from the dashboard.
- Disconnect the solar radiation sensor connector.
CAUTION:
- After the solar radiation sensor removal, the sensor connector could fall in the dashboard making the installation difficult. Therefore, hold the rooted end of the sensor connector using a clip or similar tool to prevent it from falling.
- Remove the solar radiation sensor.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
