Oil Seal (Extension Housing) Replacement

Drain the transmission oil.

Remove the following parts:
1. Front tunnel member
2. Rear tunnel member
3. Catalytic converter, middle pipe, main silencer
  (See EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
4. Heat insulator
5. Propeller shaft
  (See PROPELLER SHAFT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the oil seal using a flathead screwdriver.

Tap a new oil seal into the case using the SSTs .

Apply the specified oil to the oil seal lip.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Add transmission oil.
