  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the plug hole plate.
  3. Remove the ignition coil. (See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION (MAZDA6 3.0L) .)
  4. Remove the OCV connector.
  5. Remove the ventilation hose.
  6. Remove the cylinder head cover.
  7. Remove the OCV.
  8. Install the OCV.

    Tightening torque 

    1. 8.0-12.0 N.m 
    2. {82-122 kgf.cm, 71-106 in.lbf}

  9. Install the cylinder head cover. (See CYLINDER HEAD COVER (RH) INSTALLATION NOTE .)
  10. Install the ventilation hose.
  11. Install the OCV connector.
  12. Install the ignition coil. (See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION (MAZDA6 3.0L) .)
  13. Install the plug hole plate.
