Resistance Inspection
- Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.5] .)
- Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.5] .)
- Disconnect the EGR valve connector.
- Measure the resistance between the EGR valve terminals.

(At room temperature)- If not within the specification, replace the EGR valve. (See EGR VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
