Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) Valve Removal/Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
CAUTION:
  • A new PCV valve must be installed if removed from the cylinder head cover.
  • Upon removal, damage will occur to the locking mechanism on the PCV valve.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZI 3.7 V6] .)
  2. Set the power steering fluid tank out of the way. (See POWER STEERING OIL PUMP REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZI 3.7 V6] .)
  3. Remove in the order indicated in the table.

  4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
