DESCRIPTION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

27	Gear position indicator light does not illuminate in D or M range
DESCRIPTION	Gear position indicator light in instrument cluster does not illuminate in D or M range and ignition switch at ON.
POSSIBLE CAUSE	M range switch, TR switch, instrument cluster, or related wiring harness malfunction NOTE: Before following the troubleshooting steps, make sure that the Automatic Transaxle On-Board Diagnostic and Automatic Transaxle Basic Inspection are conducted. (See BASIC INSPECTION [AW6A-EL] .)
