Primary Control Valve Body On-Vehicle Installation

CAUTION:

Be sure to align the parking rod and the manual valve.

Install the accumulator springs, accumulators and primary control valve body.

ACCUMULATOR SPRING SPECIFICATION

Tighten the bolts as shown to install the primary control valve body.

Tightening torque 8-10 N.m {82-101 kgf.cm, 71-88 in.lbf}

Bolt length measured from below the head

Match the harness colors, then connect each solenoid valves connector.

CONNECTOR COLOR (HARNESS-SIDE)

Pressure control solenoid A	Black
Shift solenoid A	White
Shift solenoid B	Blue
Shift solenoid C	Green
Shift solenoid D	White
Shift solenoid E	Black

Install the GND.
Tightening torque 8-10 N.m {82-101 kgf.cm, 71-88 in.lbf}
Install the TFT sensor to the oil strainer

Install the oil strainer.
Apply a light coat of silicon sealant (TB1217B) to the contact surfaces of the oil pan and transaxle case.
CAUTION:
- If any old sealant gets into the transaxle during installation of the oil pan, trouble may occur in the transaxle case and oil pan, and clean with cleaning fluids.

Install the oil pan.
Tightening torque 6-8 N.m {62-81 kgf.cm, 54-70 in.lbf}
Add ATF. (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE FLUID (ATF) REPLACEMENT [FS5A-EL] .)
Install the front crossmember. (See FRONT CROSSMEMBER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L5] .)
Install the aerodynamic under cover NO. 2. (See AERODYNAMIC UNDER COVER NO. 2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Connect the negative battery cable
Perform the "Mechanical System Test". (See MECHANICAL SYSTEM TEST [FS5A-EL] .)
Perform the "Road Test". (See ROAD TEST [FS5A-EL] .)
