Resistance Inspection

- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Disconnect the EGR valve connector.
- Measure the resistance between the EGR valve terminals.
- If not within the specification, replace the EGR valve. See EGR VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L5] .
