Rear Oil Seal Replacement [L5]: Notes

  1. Remove the transaxle. (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [FS5A-EL] (ATX) .) (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [G66M-R] (MTX) .)
  2. Remove the drive plate (ATX) or the flywheel (MTX). (See DRIVE PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [FS5A-EL] (ATX) .) (See CLUTCH UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (MTX) .)
  3. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
    4. Fig 1: Rear Oil Seal Bolt With Torque Specifications

  4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
