Rear Door Quarter Glass Removal/Installation

  1. To access the glass installation bolt, position the rear door glass so that the distance from the top of the rear door glass to the upper part of the rear beltline molding is approx. 144 mm {5.67 in}.

  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  3. Remove the rear door trim. (See REAR DOOR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. Remove the screw.
  5. Remove the hole plug
  6. Remove the bolt A.
  7. Remove the bolt B.
  8. Remove the rear door quarter glass guide.

  9. Slide the rear door quarter glass in the direction of the arrow (1) shown in the figure.

  10. Remove the rear door quarter glass and weatherstrip as a single unit in the direction of the arrow (2) shown in the figure.
  11. Remove the rear door quarter glass from the weatherstrip.

  12. Install in the reverse order of removal.
