Secondary Control Valve Body On-Vehicle Installation

- Install the tubular pin and new O-rings to the transaxle case.
- Install the secondary control valve body.
- Tighten the bolts and GND as shown to install the secondary control valve body.
Tightening torque 8-10 N.m {82-101 kgf.cm, 71-88 in.lbf}
Bolt length measured from below the head
BOLT SPECIFICATION CAHRTMark Length measured from below the head B 40 mm {1.6 in} C 50 mm {2.0 in} - Connect each solenoid valve connector.

CONNECTOR COLOR REFERENCE CHARTSolenoid valve Connector color Pressure control solenoid B White Shift solenoid F Black - Apply a light coat of sealant (TB1217E)
to the contact surfaces of the oil cover and transaxle case.CAUTION:
- If any sealant remains on the sealing surfaces of the transaxle case and oil pan, transaxle damage may occur. Use a cleaning fluid to remove any old sealant from the transaxle case and oil pan.
- Install the oil cover before the applied sealant starts to harden.
Tightening torque 8-10 N.m {82-101 kgf.cm, 71-88 in.lbf}
- Add ATF. (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE FLUID (ATF) REPLACEMENT .)
- Install the aerodynamic under cover NO. 2. (See AERODYNAMIC UNDER COVER NO. 2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Install the PCM bracket and PCM. (See PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Install the battery tray. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.5] .)
- Install the battery. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.5] .)
- Connect the negative battery cable.
- Perform the "Mechanical System Test". (See MECHANICAL SYSTEM TEST .)
- Perform the "Road Test". (See ROAD TEST .)
