Primary Control Valve Body On-Vehicle Installation

CAUTION:
- Be sure to align the parking rod and the manual valve.
- Install the accumulator springs, accumulators and primary control valve body.
Accumulator spring specification

Bolt length measured from below the head
BOLT SPECIFICATION CAHRTMark Length measured from below the head B 40 mm {1.6 in} No mark 70 mm {2.8 in} - Match the harness colors, then connect each solenoid valves connector.

Tightening torque 8-10 N.m {82-101 kgf.cm, 71-88 in.lbf}
- Install the oil strainer.
- Connect the TFT sensor to the oil strainer.
- Apply a light coat of sealant (TB1217E)
to the contact surfaces of the oil pan and transaxle case.CAUTION:
- If any sealant remains on the sealing surfaces of the transaxle case and oil pan, transaxle damage may occur. Use a cleaning fluid to remove any old sealant from the transaxle case and oil pan.
- Install the oil pan before the applied sealant starts to harden.
Tightening torque 6.0-8.0 N.m {62-81 kgf.cm, 54-70 in.lbf}
- Install the front crossmember. (See FRONT CROSSMEMBER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.5] .)
- Add ATF. (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE FLUID (ATF) REPLACEMENT .)
- Install the aerodynamic under cover NO. 2. (See AERODYNAMIC UNDER COVER NO. 2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Connect the negative battery cable.
- Perform the "Mechanical System Test". (See MECHANICAL SYSTEM TEST .)
- Perform the "Road Test". (See ROAD TEST .)
