Removal Note

  1. Drain the transmission fluid. See AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION OIL PAN (GASKET AND OIL STRAINER) REMOVAL / INSTALLATION , .
  2. Remove the bolt.
  3. Remove the oil strainer.

  4. Remove the bolts.
  5. Remove the reverse band servo cover and gasket. Discard the reverse servo separator plate cover gasket.

  6. Remove the reverse band servo piston and rod and the reverse servo piston return spring.
